What about commissioned tests?
A company can ask us to test something. When we do, the piece carries one line under the headline saying who asked, such as Commissioned by Company name. The test is run and reported the same way as any other.
What about guest posts and press releases?
A guest post carries the author’s name and company. A press release is marked as one. Both sit in Sponsored, apart from our own reporting and reviews.
What if we get something wrong?
We correct it and note the change at the foot of the piece.
