Qualcomm Technologies agreed on September 23, 2026 to acquire PickNik Inc., which leads the open-source MoveIt software. The release states no price, and we have not tested the software.

Boston Dynamics opened its Robotics Metaplant Application Center at Hyundai Motor Group Metaplant America on September 21, 2026. Its release repeats a plan for 25,000 Atlas units and does not say how many robots are in the center. We have not tested Atlas.
